The service

BookIntel provides research tools for book authors and publishers: market data, keyword and category research, tracking, trademark screening and writing aids. Features and limits depend on your plan and may change as the product develops.

Estimates are not guarantees

Sales, revenue and demand figures marked as estimates are calculated from public information such as Best Sellers Rank. They can be wrong. Nothing in the service is a promise about how a book will sell, and no figure here is financial, legal or investment advice.

The Trademark Checker is a screening aid that looks up an exact phrase on a public register. It is not legal advice and does not clear a name for use. Consult a qualified professional before relying on it.

Your account

• Keep your sign-in details private. You are responsible for activity under your account.
• Give accurate information. One person per account unless your plan says otherwise.
• You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live.

Acceptable use

• Do not scrape, copy or resell the data shown in the service, and do not use automated tools to extract it in bulk.
• Do not attempt to bypass plan limits, abuse any trial or offer with multiple accounts, or interfere with the service.
• Do not use the service to break the law or the rules of Amazon, KDP or any other platform.

Plans and payment

Creating an account is free and includes one free Niche Finder search. After that, an account without an active subscription cannot use the research tools. A paid plan (Lite, Pro or Publisher) unlocks them. Each plan has monthly usage limits, shown on the Plans page before you pay.

Plans are billed monthly in US dollars through PayPal: Lite $9, Pro $19 and Publisher $39 per month. A subscription renews every month until you cancel it. You can cancel at any time from your account page; when you do, renewal stops and you keep your plan until the end of the period you already paid for. Payment details are handled by PayPal and are never stored by BookIntel.

Payments are non-refundable, including the first payment and renewals. The Refund policy page has the details.

Not affiliated with Amazon

BookIntel is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Amazon, Kindle Direct Publishing or any marketplace named in the service.

Availability and liability

We work to keep the service running but it depends on third-party data sources and may be unavailable or incomplete at times. The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for decisions you make based on the data shown.

Ending your account

You can stop using the service at any time and ask us to delete your account through Support. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change is meaningful we will update the date above and tell signed-in users in the app.
